THE ROBY METHOD™ IN BRIEF

Assessment-led, strength-based, staged by phase

Prenatal work is mainly strength training with breath, mobility and birth preparation. Postnatal work reconnects the core and pelvic floor first, then rebuilds strength and Pilates progressively.

Assess before we train

Intake, symptom screen, breath, posture and movement screen at the start and at each phase change.

Breath and pressure first

Pressure management built into every lift; load, range or strategy adjusted when symptoms appear.

Strong is the goal

Functional strength scaled to trimester and symptoms, for the physical demands of pregnancy and new motherhood.

Prepare for birth

Third-trimester pelvic mobility, balance and positioning work, so her body has room and readiness for labor.

Rebuild in stages

Progression after birth is based on symptoms and capacity, not the calendar. Clearance is the start of rebuilding.

Coach the whole person

Nutrition, sleep and habit coaching within scope, and referral to the right provider for anything beyond it.

SCOPE & SAFETY

Your clearance comes first

Programming follows current ACOG guidance on physical activity and exercise during pregnancy and postpartum. Fully insured through K&K Insurance.

Medical clearance required

A signed note from her doctor or midwife before training begins, and again before she returns after birth.

Training, not treatment

I train, coach and educate. I don't diagnose, treat or give medical advice.

Red flags go back to you

Warning signs during a session mean we stop, and she is sent back to her provider before training resumes.

Part of her care team

With your patient's permission, I can share her plan and progress with you.

TRAINING & CREDENTIALS
